Niculae sues Caley … oh and we drew again
By: Ian Rose | February 16th, 2009The Terry Butcher era continues to rise Caley from the depths of awfulness to the shallow coastal flats of mediocrity, but I remember from CPR training that most drownings happen in shallow water, and we’re still four points from SPL safety. Caley Thistle is on two draws from two league matches since The Bloody One took over, but since those draws happened to be against the #1 and #3 teams on the current table, I suppose we can’t complain. Okay, we can. But I won’t.
In more scandalous news, Marius Niculae, the man who made me root for Romania in the Euros last year, is returning the favor by suing the club I support. Dick. Just kidding. Apparently, there’s some discrepancy in the amount Marius was supposed to be paid, versus the amount he actually was … and he’s suing us for about 150,000 pounds.
In other words, cup run or no cup run, our financial situation still blows.

“From the depths of awfulness to the shallow coastal flats of mediocrity” is brilliant writing, Ian. Well done.
