Fourth Place Tonight: Caley 3-1 Kilmarnock
By: Ian Rose | September 27th, 2008No hugely in-depth analysis of this one, because to be quite honest, I plain didn’t see it. But you can believe that I will be watching it, enjoying more midfielders and defenders finding the back of the net, even if the strikers seemingly can’t. With Killie’s form this season, and the terrible home record early for the Jags, I wasn’t enthusiastic about this one, but it’s a huge win, and fourth place is a very good place to be for Caley Thistle. Good work done, boys. More later this week.
Just a little fun fact for the day: Last season’s first home game with Killie was the exact same result, a 3-1 win for the Jags. Next time they come to town, we should start a rousing chant of “Can we play you, can we play you, can we play you every week”
