Buckie 0-2 Caley and Clach Video

By: Ian Rose | July 11th, 2009

Another day, another Highland League side beaten, though not all that convincingly this time. Terry Butcher started three trialists in the preseason friendly today, though Ryan Esson remained our starter in goal. Both goals were headers from Richie Foran, who is now on three goals in two matches. Butcher might be keen on Barrowman right now, but I know who my eye is on as our in-form striker.

In other news, enterprising Caley fan QBromley (or Bromley Eagle on the caleythistleonline forums) has posted eight minutes of video from Caley’s 6-1 win over Clachnacuddin. For a fan abroad who won’t see his team play much this season, this is gold. It’s taken from the sidelines, and the quality is surprisingly good, plus you get running commentary from the young lads standing around the cameraman. Cheers, Eagle – keep them coming.
