Halftime Report: Caley 1-0 Hibs
By: Ian Rose | August 23rd, 2008We’re at the half at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium, and the Caley are up 1-0 on the strength of, yes, Don Cowie. Cowie became the third Inverness scorer of the season in the 21st minute with a left-footed strike. The assist went to Roy McBain, who adds that to his goal in the opener against Aberdeen.
A good looking side today, with essentially three starting up front in Dougie Imrie, Andrew Barrowman and Adam Rooney. Despite the attacking formation, we only managed four shots in the first half, but in a good sign for an often inaccurate side, all four have been on target including Cowie’s goal. We had 57% of the possession in the first half, and all the corners.
The second half is now underway, so let’s keep it up and take the season to 2-1.
MON THE CALEY!
